Job summary

Sardi's in Bowie, MD is hiring a Take-out Specialist to ensure efficient take-out operations, deliver impeccable service, and maintain high-quality food and value while upholding company policies.

You will describe menu items, take phone orders, input orders into Micros or hand-written tickets, perform quality checks, and greet guests in the takeout area. The role offers weekly pay and health insurance contribution.

Responsibilities

• Describing menu items and assist guests with making food + beverage decisions
• Answering the phone during the shift
• Accurately input all Phone + Online orders into Micros or legible hand-written tickets for the kitchen
• Quality checking all containers to make sure the order is accurate before bagging the containers
• Placing all appropriate utensils, condiments and correct number of sauces in each bag(s)
• Greet all guests in the takeout area and communicate effectively with the guest
• Verify payment is received or processed before the order is given to the guest
• Present guest with their completed order

As a Take-out Specialist for Sardi's, you will be expected to maintain accountability for the efficient operation of our take-out orders. You will consistently delivery impeccable service to our guests; provide food of highest quality with great flavors and great value; create and maintain an environment of trust, credibility, and respect. You will ensure Sardi’s policies and procedures are implemented and maintained in a consistent manner.
