Job summary

Lapels Cleaners is looking for an experienced Tailor / Seamstress for full time or part time work. The role involves serving walk-in customers, fittings, and maintaining the alteration department to Lapels standards.

Contract and/or employee positions are available, with benefits such as PTO, 401K, and discounts. The ideal candidate has prior experience in tailoring, sewing, production, or manufacturing, and is ready to help grow a client base while upholding store appearance and standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Tailor / Seamstress or sewing, production, or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all walk-in customers in the store that need fittings
• Maintain high standards of appearance of the alteration department
• Follow posted work schedule
• Achieve increased levels of productivity while maintaining Lapels standards
• General housekeeping to support a benchmark store appearance
• Other duties as assigned
