Nordstrom Inc. is seeking a skilled Tailor/Fitter to deliver high‑quality alterations and exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced retail environment.

You will measure, fit, and tailor garments, ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to company standards. The role requires 2–3 years of tailoring and sewing experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple requests with a collaborative spirit.

Competenze

• 2–3+ years of fitting, tailoring and sewing experience preferred.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to stay organized and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and alterations equipment.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Mansioni

• Measure customers for size and mark areas needing alterations.
• Perform fittings and complete alterations on time per Nordstrom guidelines.
• Meet productivity goals while following procedures.
• Use store tech to manage alteration needs and requests.
• Collaborate with Alterations & Store Team to deliver customer expectations.
• Educate customers and employees on fit, construction, and trends.
