Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform standard alterations (hem changes, waist/seat, rise, tapering, sleeve, seams, collar) per guidelines.
• Maintain productive alterations pace (approx. 60 minutes per hour) with breaks as needed.
• Ensure garments meet quality standards with clean finishes and secure stitching.
• Press garments for a clean, crisp finish.
• Maintain organized workspace and properly store tools and materials.
• Demonstrate proficiency with tailoring equipment and tag/organize completed work.
• Assist with inventory management and replenishment of tailoring supplies.
• Support front-of-house tasks and assist customers with consultations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with tailors to share techniques and train sales staff on tailoring basics.
• Report incidents or safety hazards to management and communicate feedback.
