Job summary

Live 2 B Healthy of Chattanooga is seeking Fitness Trainers to lead tai chi and aquafit classes for older adults in senior living communities. You will deliver safe, engaging group sessions, focusing on mobility and well-being, while upholding program standards and safety.

Candidates should have experience leading tai chi or aquafit, CPR/AED certification, and active insurance. This role serves communities in the West Denver Metro area, Boulder, Golden, Lakewood, and surrounding areas, with a

Qualifications

  • Experience in leading tai chi and/or aquafit classes
  • Current nationally recognized tai chi and/or aquafit certification
  • Current CPR/AED certification (required)
  • Carry active insurance (required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an encouraging, client-centered approach
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled sessions

Responsibilities

  • Lead Group Tai Chi Classes: Conduct scheduled on-site fitness classes tailored to the needs and abilities of older adults, focusing on mobility and movement and could include chair-based participants.
  • Ensure Safety & Inclusivity: Monitor participants closely to ensure exercises are performed safely and effectively. Modify activities as needed to support all fitness levels.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Create a motivating, respectful, and inclusive environment. Establish trust and rapport with residents, staff, and community decision-makers.
  • Follow Program Guidelines: Adhere to all Live 2 B Healthy protocols and curriculum standards for all formats of training (group, small group, and private).
  • Communication & Reporting: Accurately report attendance, session feedback, and client notes to the Fitness Program Manager. Communicate class concerns or scheduling issues in a timely manner.

Our Fitness Trainers including tai chi and and aquafit instructors are the heart of the Live 2 B Healthy program, delivering safe, effective, and engaging group fitness classes for older adults in senior living communities. This role requires a passion for helping seniors stay active, with a strong commitment to program quality, safety, and participant progress. We are looking for multiple resources in the West Denver Metro area including Boulder, Golden, Lakewood and everywhere in between.

Compensation
