Job summary

Language Services Associates is seeking Tagalog interpreters to serve the Charleston, SC area. As part of our network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will support Limited English Proficient communities across a variety of settings, including healthcare, legal, and community programs.

We continuously accept qualified interpreters for a wide range of assignments. Candidates should maintain excellent client service, strict confidentiality, and adherence to professional protocols;

Qualifications

• Full fluency in both English and Tagalog.
• Strong client service skills.
• 1+ year of professional interpreting experience preferred.
• Industry-specific certifications/trainings preferred (CMI, CCHI).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices.

As a member of LSA’s network of Independently Contracted Interpreters, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings. LSA is continuously accepting qualified interpreters for a wide range of interpreting assignments!
