You should be self-sufficient, detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Expertise with DMV Software / CDK is required. A clean record is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify funds and lien payoff before title processing.
• Check application for accuracy and completeness.

Job Description

EchoPark Automotive is hiring a Tag & Title Specialist for our store located in Houston Stafford, Texas. Our Tag & Title Specialist will play an important role in the processing of car deals, verify costs for the accounting department, including the costs of reconditioning and equipment add-ons, and handle the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. If you’re a self-sufficient, resilient person who enjoys working in a fast-paced,fun environment, then we’re looking for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Process all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
• Check for accuracy in the application and ensure that all information is complete.
• Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade‑ins.
• Pull reports from our TRAC system
• Process rejections
