GardaWorld Security Services in Portland, OR is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol retail environments, airports, and detention centers, applying keen observation to read environments, anticipate risk, and act decisively. This full-time graveyard shift (Sun–Wed, 11:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• Must be 21 or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
