Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol venues such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers. Your keen observation, risk anticipation, and quick action are essential to keep people and property safe.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for most of your shift
• Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
