Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments, assess risk, and respond to incidents. Mobility is required as you move across shifts, with duties in locations such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.

Based in Sacramento, CA, this role offers a 40-hour workweek, a competitive hourly wage of $20.85, benefits including medical, dental, and vision, a 401(k) with employer matching, paid holidays, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• State security license (BSIS Guard Card) and 32 hr. training required (training can be obtained during hiring).

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
