Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Omaha, NE. The role emphasizes environmental awareness, risk anticipation, and proactive response during patrols across diverse sites including retail and airports.

Ideal candidates are authorized to work in the U.S., able to pass extensive screening, and capable of standing/walking throughout shifts. A First Aid certificate is a plus; security experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
