Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of law enforcement or seven years of hospital security experience.
• Successful completion of Banner Health’s Tactical Officer Academy on hire.

Responsibilities

• Direct security response to violent incidents and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Conduct patrols and ensure safety of staff, visitors, and patients.
• Prepare and submit concise incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Escort and assist during restraints and de-escalation as needed.
• Enforce security rules and operate interior and exterior patrols.
• Coordinate with Tactical Operation Unit leadership and other agencies.
