Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer in Laporte, TX. The role focuses on environment awareness, risk anticipation, and rapid action across patrols in retail, airports, and other facilities.

Requirements include U.S. work authorization, a HS diploma or GED, and a strong screening process. A valid driver’s license and TWIC card are required, with first aid as a plus. Excellent observation and response skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass extensive screening
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid TWIC card (hard copy in hand, not expired)
• 21 years or older
• At least 2 years of security experience
• Pass 10-year background and driving screening
• Pass Reid or equivalent test

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
