SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician IV in Bedford, IN to support the U.S. Navy. You will assemble using hand tools, test power, Ethernet and RF cables, and build/tune tactical communications systems.

The role requires 4+ years of related experience or a relevant degree, interim secret clearance with sponsorship for secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and willingness to travel up to 25% to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read technical manuals, engineering drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with tactical radios and waveforms such as Link16 and TSM-X.

Responsabilités

• Assemble equipment per engineering drawings using hand and power tools.
• Test and analyze power, Ethernet, and RF cables with test equipment.
• Build and operate tactical communication systems.
• Integrate system components and modify as needed.
• Travel up to 25% for fielding events.
• Analyze and implement procedures to improve productivity.
