GardaWorld Security Services in Carmel, IN is hiring a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers, using keen observation to anticipate risk.

This full-time, second-shift role from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. offers $25 per hour, benefits including medical, dental, and vision, a 401(k) with employer matching, PTO and life insurance, plus uniform provided and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must pass extensive screening.
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift.
• Military/police/security experience is a plus.
• MOS in law enforcement or security, academy graduate, or 4+ years military service.

Responsabilités

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.

• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.

As a Security Officer - Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity

Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience - even better!
• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch v. Associate degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
