Job summary

Fanatics Commerce in Easton, PA is seeking a dedicated Operator, Tackle Twill to join the Manufacturing team on the 1st shift. You will arrange, heat-seal, and quality-inspect tackle twill lettering on licensed apparel, ensuring spelling, placement, and color meet fan expectations.

You will verify each work order, maintain accuracy, and support a culture of continuous improvement by embracing new tools and techniques, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write English to interpret work orders, art specifications, team names, and quality documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to verify spelling, color, placement, and patch requirements against each work order.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple work orders and letter arrangements in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions from supervisors with accuracy and consistency.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods throughout a full manufacturing shift.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as production needs require.
  • Experience operating heat-seal or similar production machinery is a plus, though on-the-job training is provided.

  • Meet overtime requirements as needed, including weekends, to ensure production commitments are fulfilled without compromising quality.

As we continue to scale our global platform, the Operator, Tackle Twill will play a critical role in producing high-quality tackle twill lettering and custom apparel on the manufacturing floor.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Operator, Tackle Twill is responsible for arranging, heat-sealing, and quality-inspecting tackle twill lettering on licensed sports apparel in accordance with team, style, and art specifications. Working on the 1st shift within the Manufacturing department, this role ensures every garment meets Fanatics Commerce's standards for spelling, placement, color, and quality before it reaches the fan. The Operator, Tackle Twill delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

  • Review every work order thoroughly — verifying style, color, team, art, name, patch requirements, size, and quantity — to ensure each garment is built to exact fan specifications.
  • Arrange tackle twill letters with precision, upholding spelling accuracy and placement standards that reflect the quality fans expect from officially licensed merchandise.
  • Inspect completed work before releasing to the finish bundle, catching and dispositioning any quality issues before they reach the customer.
  • Contribute to fulfilling fan orders accurately and on schedule, directly supporting the fan experience at the point of product.

  • Identify patterns in quality defects or production inefficiencies and surface improvement ideas to the supervisor.
  • Adapt quickly to new work orders, team specifications, and art requirements, applying sound judgment when variations arise on the line.

  • Execute all tackle twill operations — including heat-seal machine setup and application — with care, speed, and consistency across a full 7:30am–4:00pm shift.
  • Maintain a well-organized workstation to support efficient letter arrangement and reduce errors throughout the production run.
  • Meet overtime requirements as needed, including weekends, to ensure production commitments are fulfilled without compromising quality.
  • Take personal accountability for the accuracy and quality of every garment processed, treating each piece as a finished product a fan will wear.
