SAIC is seeking a Data Visualization Engineer to support the NRO in Chantilly, VA. The role combines hands-on Tableau expertise with systems engineering and advisory skills to deliver high-impact visual analytics that support mission execution and senior leader decision-making.

In this role, you'll design, develop, and deploy Tableau dashboards, validate data sources, and collaborate with Government stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive visuals.

Qualifications

• Requires active Top Secret/SCI with polygraph.
• Proven ability to design Tableau dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL, and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience in intelligence or DoD environments and working with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Tableau dashboards for mission insights across Ground Enterprise.
• Enhance and maintain dashboards for usability, accuracy, and performance.
• Assess and validate data sources for visualization readiness and integrity.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather analytic requirements and translate them into visualizations.
• Evaluate dashboard architecture and provide SETA advisory recommendations for reliability and scalability.
• Perform data modeling, transformation, and integration to support analytics workflows.
• Document dashboard logic, data pipelines, and usage patterns for continuity.
• Stay current with Tableau features and enterprise BI trends to guide capability enhancements.
