A leading tech service company based in California is seeking a Tableau Technology Lead to develop reports and dashboards. Candidates must have strong experience with Tableau and a solid understanding of data modeling. This role requires at least 4 years of experience with Tableau and scripting skills. The position offers a full-time contract with onsite work expected in Foster City. Description:

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Skills: Tableau 8.x/9.x
• Experience on Report and Dashboard development using Tableau 8.x/9.x
• Strong knowledge on Tableau connecting with Databases like DB2, Oracle, Cloudera Hadoop, MySql, MSSql
• Strong Knowledge on Tableau server with distributed environment model.
• Must be able to design/understand data modelling, schema and map to data elements of reports
• Should have scripting (PERL/Shell) experience

Preferred

• At least 3+ years of experience in DW/BI related technologies and tools.
• At least 4+ years of experience in software development life cycle.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in Design.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience to Financial domain.
• Analytical skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience with Tableau
