Title: Tableau Developer

Boston, MA 4 days/week onsite F2F Interview Required Data Visualization and Analytics Lead

Responsibilities
  • Primarily using Tableau visualizations, manage a backlog of analysis efforts and insights to Product Owners and Stakeholders in the form and creation of scorecard(s) and scorecard related performance metrics, Cost Benefit Analysis support, impact analysis, root causes and trends, estimates, forecasts all with the ability to prioritize and to be disciplined in backlog management.
  • Collaborate with Software Engineering teams to develop, interpret, and deliver data and reporting requirements, ensuring technology solutions align with and meet business objectives.
  • Develop BI dashboards and visualizations, presenting complex concepts in a format accessible to diverse audiences.
  • Extract, manage, and analyze data from multiple disparate systems, offering holistic solutions when required.
  • Engage in data transformation and mining initiatives.
  • Leverage analytics tools to discern customer traffic and behavior patterns, spearheading hypothesis testing and A/B tests for enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with a Team of Product Owners and User Experience (UX) experts to support team goal attainment through the product owner project lifecycle.
  • This role will help justify projects, support the analytical needs of the project through the project lifecycle, and help establish and sustain the gains from the project into the control and monitoring stages.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Master's preferred. Significant proven experience can be a substitute for this.
  • A minimum of 3 years of advanced experience with Tableau, with a portfolio of dynamic and insightful visualizations. Tableau certification preferred. Past experience working with, on or leading Tableau user groups is a big plus.
  • Knowledge of data management components, with familiarity with platforms like Google Analytics 4, Heap, Redshift, Tealium and additional data management tools would be advantageous.
  • 2 years experience using SQL to support the building of visualizations is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the usual desktop tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets etc.
  • Given the need to present complex data the candidate must be a strong communicator visually but also effective at verbal communications in order to collaborate and to support the problem solving process.
  • Experience working with diverse and technically sophisticated teams for the purpose of curating and understanding data sources.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, manage competing initiatives, and adapt to a dynamic work pace, all while emphasizing accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the Insurance or financial industries is a nice to have as well!
