Job summary

Cliff Services Inc is looking for a Tableau Developer in Chicago to design and optimize dashboards for executive and regulatory reporting using Tableau Desktop, Server, and Cloud. You will model data, create semantic layers, and implement robust security controls for banking datasets.

You will collaborate with financial analysts and risk managers to translate complex metrics into compelling visuals while tuning performance for large datasets and ensuring governance across the BI landscape.

Qualifications

• Experience building dashboards for executive and regulatory reporting in a banking/financial context.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries across Oracle/ Teradata or similar databases.
• Expertise in data modeling, semantic layers, and data governance for sensitive financial data.

Responsibilities

• Design executive, operational, and regulatory dashboards using Tableau Desktop, Server, and Cloud.
• Build reliable data connections, semantic layers, and complex calculated fields.
• Configure user access permissions and row-level security aligned with banking rules to ensure governance.
• Optimize slow-loading workbooks and large financial data queries to improve performance.
• Collaborate with financial analysts and risk managers to define key metrics and visuals.
