Job summary

Lakeville Area Schools is seeking a Data Visualization & Application Support Analyst to transform raw district data into interactive dashboards for leadership, principals, and educators. The role focuses on data-driven decisions across student performance, attendance, and demographics.

The position requires Tableau mastery, strong SQL skills, and experience with SIS platforms. It is a 261-day-per-year role offering a salary between $95,000 and $100,000, with comprehensive district benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data analytics, CS, information systems, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 2–3 years of experience in data visualization, application support, or database management.
• Experience in K-12 education is preferred.
• Mastery of Tableau or equivalent data-visualization tool.
• Strong SQL querying and data hygiene skills.
• Experience with major SIS platforms and Excel (VLOOKUPs, Power Query, Pivot Tables).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for district leadership and stakeholders.
• Transform student performance, attendance, demographic, and behavioral data into clear visuals.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for equity, growth, and interventions.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests with accurate visualizations.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and timely synchronization between SIS and data sources.
