Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining tables, counters, chairs, and other food-service surfaces.
• Wipe down tables between meals and as needed throughout the shift.
• Remove food, trash, and debris from tables and dining areas.
• Maintain clean and organized dining-room and service areas.
• Restock cleaning supplies, napkins, utensils, and other dining-hall items as needed.
• Assist with trash and recycling collection.
• Follow college health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment according to instructions.
• Report spills, damaged furniture, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to a supervisor.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Table Washer:

• Clean and sanitize dining tables, counters, chairs, and other food-service surfaces.
• Wipe down tables between meals and as needed throughout the shift.
• Remove food, trash, and debris from tables and dining areas.
• Maintain clean and organized dining-room and service areas.
• Restock cleaning supplies, napkins, utensils, and other dining-hall items as needed.
• Assist with trash and recycling collection.
• Follow college health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

• Report spills, damaged furniture, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Assist other dining-service employees with cleaning duties during busy periods.

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry trash bags, cleaning supplies, and other materials.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow cleaning and safety instructions.
• Positive and respectful attitude when working around students and guests.
