Golden Nugget offers a Table Games Dealer-In-Training program in Biloxi. The six-to-eight week training lays the foundation for a future role as a Table Games Dealer, with an audition required after completion.

Candidates must obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit, have strong math and customer service skills, and meet the 21+ age requirement. This program provides pathways to advancement and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Exemplary guest service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to exceptional guest service.
• Must obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit upon acceptance into the program.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit.
• Must be able to deal each game proficiently by the end of the course.
• Must adhere to gaming regulations, policies and procedures.
• Must be able to compute payable odds and payable winning bets.
• Hand/Eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
• Ability to verify fills and credits to game.
• Educate guests on proper rules and procedures of the games.
• Monitor guest play and table action to ensure game integrity.
• Excellent math and communication skills.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Candidates will need to successfully complete 120 hours of training.
• Candidates will need to complete an interview process and agree to Dealer Training Program Terms and Agreement.
