The role emphasizes accurate chip handling, guest relations, and adherence to Nevada gaming regulations, with responsibilities including currency exchange, bet settlement, and following house rules. Strong communication and presentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months dealing experience and appropriate licensure preferred.
• Working knowledge of State of Nevada Gambling regulations and rules.
• Must be able to review and comprehend all documents.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all times, with all levels of employees and guests.
• Neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Superior guest relation skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Exchange currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules.
• Promote positive guest relations.
• Responsible for maintaining the security of the game.
• Knowledge of local jurisdiction gaming laws and internal control policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
