Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for the Northeast Region in Wallingford, CT. This role leads multi-disciplinary teams, ensures safety, quality, and profitability, and drives successful project execution from concept through completion.

You will manage project scope, schedule, and risks, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and pursue new opportunities to grow the T&D portfolio in the Northeast with leadership and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• 7+ years of engineering design and project management experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, and achieve critical project objectives.
• Ensure safety, quality, and profitability of projects.
• Manage projects from concept to completion with siting, permitting, and procurement basics.
• Coordinate with regional/branch offices to deliver client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities, write proposals, and lead client presentations.
• Support business development and profitable growth.
• Monitor project financials, risks, and schedule; report progress regularly.
• Develop project policies and controls, and implement project controls.
