Job summary

AbelZeta, located in Rockville, MD, seeks a Scientist I to join the Immuno-Oncology Research team. The role centers on discovering and advancing T-cell therapies for cancers and autoimmune diseases, under guidance from senior scientists.

As part of the R&D division, you will apply molecular and cell biology expertise to develop cell therapy solutions, design experiments, analyze data, and document findings for publication and regulatory purposes.

Qualifications

• BS in a relevant discipline with 2+ years of experience or MS in a relevant discipline.
• Strong background in molecular and cell biology, immunology, or immuno-oncology.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct primary immune cell and tumor cell line culturing, T cell assays, antibody functional analysis, and other in vitro experiments.
• Contribute to experimental planning, data analysis, and interpretation of results.
• Document procedures meticulously and report findings clearly.
• Collaborate with team members to translate data into forward-looking research.
• Provide technical guidance to the team and coordinate across projects.
