Qualifications

• Must have current API 510/570 Certification.
• Minimum 3-year 510/570 work experience.
• Must be able to pass DISA background and Drug Screen.
• Must be able to pass a FIT test and perform inspections under supplied air.

Job description

HMT has a need for an API 510/570 certified Inspector to assist with performing inspections in accordance with current API standards and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Perform API 510/570 internal/external inspections per customer’s scope of work.
• Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility and customer.
• Properly interpret ITP’s, equipment drawings, client specifications, codes and industry standards.
• Ensure that all site and HMT safety policies and procedures are being followed.

Required Qualifications

• Must have current API 510/570 Certification.
• Minimum 3-year 510/570 work experience.
• Must be technically competent and knowledgeable in damage mechanisms.
• Must have current TWIC Card.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be competent and thorough in report writing and recommendations.
• Must have good computer skills.
• Must be familiar with current API codes.
• Must be knowledgeable in NDE processes required for inspections and repair.
• Must be able to pass DISA background and Drug Screen (hair follicle).
• Must be able to pass a FIT test and perform inspections under supplied air.
