Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Systems & Test Manufacturing Planner 3 for a contract opportunity in Renton, WA to support the 737 program.

Position is 100% onsite and requires 1+ years in a manufacturing environment, ability to read engineering drawings, and collaboration with ME teams, Manufacturing, and Engineering. You will update installation plans in CAPPII and CMES and help drive production efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• 1+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Education/experience equivalent to Associate or Bachelor+1 year.

Responsibilities

• Update/Revise Installation Plans in CAPPII.
• Update/Revise Installation Plans in CMES.
• Coordinate and integrate with ME, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues.
• Ensure quality of work instructions, BOM, and illustrations used by Manufacturing.
• Review and approve supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
• Provide tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
• Create and revise OSIPs supporting Engineering and Planning releases.

Chipton-Ross is seeking 10 Systems & Test Manufacturing Planner 3's for a contract opportunity in Renton, WA.

100% onsite

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• 1 or more years' experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• 1 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Associate Level).
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The 737 program is looking for detail-oriented and proactive Systems & Test Manufacturing Planners to support the build & production of all 737 derivative airplanes. This individual will contribute to 737 increasing production rates and new minor model certification.

• o o Update/Revise Installation Plans in Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPPII).
• o o Update/Revise Installation Plans in Common Manufacturing Execution System (CMES).
• Coordinate and integrate with other ME teams, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
• Investigate and resolve manufacturing related issues.
• Ensure quality of work instructions, bill of materials, and illustrations used by Manufacturing.
• Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
• Provide tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
• Create and revise Out-Of-Sequence Installation Plans (OSIPs) supporting Engineering and Planning releases.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• o 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Mid-Level).
• o 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Senior Level).
• o Experience in Manufacturing Engineering Planning systems such as Product Data Manager (PDM), Computer Aided Process Planning (CAPP), Reference Engineering Data Automated Retrieval System (REDARS), and Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP-LN).

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).
