Job summary

Canfield Imaging Systems is seeking a Software Systems Test Intern to join our team in Parsippany, NJ. You will assist in developing and maintaining tests for desktop, web and mobile applications, and execute both manual and automated tests under supervision.

Ideal candidates are BS/MS students in CS/EE/CE with strong programming in C#, Python, Java or C/C++, and an interest in QA, REST APIs, SQL and test tools like Selenium or GitHub.

Qualifications

• Strong programming experience in one or more of the following (C#, Python, Java, C/C++)
• Interest in automation testing and software quality
• Knowledge of RDBMS / SQL
• Good understanding of computer systems (software and hardware)
• Ability to work independently under the guidance of a senior team member

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining tests for desktop, web and mobile applications
• Execute manual and automated tests
• Identify, report, track and verify software defects
• Collaborate with QA engineers and developers on test plan and test script creations
• Contribute to issue isolation and issue reproduction across releases and environments
• Solve interesting and challenging problems while applying best practices in test automation and software quality
