Job summary

CACI International Inc in Lisle, IL is seeking a System Test Engineer to test software on IP/telecommunication systems across Linux/Unix platforms under direct supervision. Travel up to 10% to support lab and customer sites.

You will design and execute detailed test plans with engineers, document defects, and collaborate on characterization. The role entails testing in telecom labs with automation tools and adhering to CACI EH&S policies while pursuing continual growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years related experience or equivalent.
Experience with development tools (editors and compilers).
Knowledge of Windows, Unix/Solaris/Linux servers, workstations, and networks.
Familiar with IP-based telephony architecture, configuration and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Test software in IP/telecommunication systems on multiple hardware platforms using Linux/Unix.
Design/write detailed test plans and execute tests with engineers on complex systems.
Define and communicate basic test strategies.
Document defects and collaborate with engineers on characterization.
Work in a telecom development lab, use automation tools and lab test equipment.
Travel to other CACI locations or customer sites as needed.
Adhere to CACIEH&S policies and ensure a safe work environment.
Perform other duties as required.
