Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a System Test Engineer to synthesize customer needs into comprehensive test solutions and lead the planning and execution of multi-system test procedures. You will coordinate tests, analyze requirements, and produce high-quality evaluations that honor schedule and cost constraints.

The role includes hands-on support, technical guidance, and proactive engagement to maintain quality and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• ABET Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of exempt experience required.
• Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience acceptable.
• PDP NNS Apprentice Certificate acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize customer contractual needs into system test solutions considering constraints of time and cost.
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of test plans, procedures and schedules for systems.
• Coordinate integrated testing activities across ship systems.
• Review test requirements for completeness of the test program.
• Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare system level evaluations.
• Collect data, coordinate and conduct various test procedures across ship systems.
• Provide hands-on deck plate support and guidance by evaluating vendor equipment and test procedures.
• Display proactive, self-starter attitude to impact the test program while meeting schedules.
