Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking a System Test Engineer in Redmond, WA for a long-term position. You will maintain quality standards, design and execute tests, and collaborate with design engineers to ensure robust prototype testing in both lab and factory environments.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, CE or Physical Sciences with 1+ years of technical experience.
• Hands-on testing background and design of complex testing systems.
• Excellent understanding of electromechanical assembly processes.
• Capable of working in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of sensors, protocols (I2C, SPI, I2S) and hardware fundamentals.
• Ability to develop, document and execute tests per design specifications.
• Ability to specify and implement test stations, diagnostics and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards for a sound user experience.
• Collaborate with design engineers to set test parameters for prototypes.
• Design, implement and execute tests to find and isolate issues.
• Design experiments to determine system limits.
• Develop instruments, fixtures, and diagnostic software for tests.
• Create automated tests and CI processes.
• Ensure equipment meets standards and calibrations are tracked.
• Serve as main contact for calibration, testing for prototypes.
• Report bugs and work with engineering teams to resolve.
