Avance Consulting is seeking a technically skilled systems software support professional in New York to configure and maintain software on semiconductor deposition equipment. You will be the go-to expert for software issues, handling startup, commissioning, upgrades, and releases.

The role requires strong analytical and communication abilities, the capability to interpret logs, and coordination with software, controls, and field service engineers to resolve complex equipment problems.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Basic understanding of software systems, Windows-based environments, networking, and computer hardware.
• Experience supporting troubleshooting complex electromechanical or industrial systems is preferred.
• Experience with industrial control systems like EtherCAT is preferred.
• Ability to interpret system logs, diagnostics, and error messages.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, industrial automation, or manufacturing systems is a plus.
• Hardware Testing & System Testing (listed as must-have)
