Beaufort County School District is seeking an IT Technician to diagnose and repair district computer hardware and peripherals, install software, and assist with network devices at assigned locations.
The candidate must hold CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications, be proficient with Microsoft Windows, and work effectively in a team while following district policies and safety guidelines.
Responsible for the prompt, efficient diagnosis and repair of all District supported computer hardware and associated peripherals for assigned locations. Provides installation, diagnosis and resolution of all approved client software. Assists in the diagnosis and resolution of network hardware and client issues. Understands and assists in the installation of all District supported and approved network premise wiring for Ethernet and Wireless Access Points. Additionally, this position will provide instructional technology support and oversee the online curriculum platforms and industry certification testing.
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Technology Services Officer, Superintendent or other district office administrator as designated by the Superintendent.
