Job summary

The Phoenix Group Advisors is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large-scale technical programs across infrastructure and platform engineering. You will partner with business leaders, technical teams, and developers to define strategy, milestones, and delivery plans.

Ideal candidates bring a CS/engineering background, 7–10 years of leadership in complex programs, and strong collaboration skills to influence stakeholders and drive workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience leading technical programs in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple high-impact initiatives.
• Technical background in computer science or a related field; knowledge of multi-node architectures, HPC, and data centers.
• Exposure to coding and scripting, along with experience working in Linux and cloud environments.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguous situations and influence stakeholders.
• User-centered mindset with a passion for workflow optimization and developer engagement.

Manage project strategies, milestones, and execution frameworks across multiple complex initiatives. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration outside of Systems to ensure seamless program delivery. Develop and refine program management processes to enhance efficiency and results. Lead initiatives such as Linux OS migrations, cloud infrastructure build-outs, and other foundational technological upgrades.

Required Skills:

• 7–10 years of experience leading technical programs in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Strong project management skills with proven ability to coordinate multiple, high-impact initiatives.
• Technical background in computer science or a related field; understanding of multi-node architectures, HPC, and data centers is a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; advanced degrees are a plus. Demonstrated success overseeing complex, multi-year technical programs in a fast-paced environment.
