Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Systems Security Engineering intern to help develop embedded security solutions that protect Warfighter technology. You will work on Anti-Tamper, Cyber Security, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management to support program protection on embedded weapons systems.

We require pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in a STEM field with at least 60 credit hours by start, plus potential for prior internship or co-op experience.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM field and actively enrolled through completion of the internship.

This is an Entry Level Role onsite in Tucson, AZ

As a member of our elite Systems Security Engineering (SSE) team, we want you to develop embedded security solutions to protect the Warfighter’s technology advantage. Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Anti-Tamper (AT), Cyber Security, Software Assurance, and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in an applicable discipline, specifically Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through completion of the internship.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Prior internship, co-op or work experience
• Applied engineering on-the-job experience, research, coursework or projects with exposure in one or more of the following domains: systems engineering, software or firmware development, systems integration and/or test, ASIC development, digital electronics design, model-based systems engineering, or similar work history.
• Experience supporting DoD programs or a working knowledge of DoD directives such as DODI-S-5230.28
• Active/Current DoD security clearance
• Exceptional creativity, problem-solving abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
