The goal of a Systems Safety Engineer at Wisk is to accurately assess risk to inform decision‑making, resulting in an appropriate level of safety. The System Safety Engineer employs qualitative and quantitative risk assessment methods to determine the likelihood and severity of hazards. You will be part of the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety & Security (RAMS) engineering team that partners with Integrated Product Teams, Quality, and Certification to assess and help improve the safety, reliability, maintainability, and security of Wisk’s Gen6 product, capture operating and maintenance expectations for continued safety and reliability, and identify, communicate, and continuously evaluate product safety risk.
This is a hybrid work opportunity; onsite at our MountainView office three days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days.
Full‑time. Pay range: $101,000–$127,000 per year, with the starting base salary within this range varying based on factors such as geography and relevant experience.
