Position Summary

The Systems Programmer Analyst is responsible for supporting administrative systems by providing technical support, training, and guidance to departments and end-users, as well as performing system administration, configuration, and programming tasks. The Systems Programmer Analyst’s primary responsibility is to support North Park’s use of Microsoft 365. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide technical and functional administration for Microsoft 365 (M365) applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Bookings, and Power Apps.
  2. Maintain currency on M365 roadmaps and upcoming changes, communicating about them with IT and other personnel as necessary, and coordinating their implementation in the tenant.
  3. Implement and maintain M365 applications used for single sign-on (SSO) and other integrations.
  4. Serve as a member of IT’s security operations (SECOPS) team, which includes the IT Security Analyst, CIO, and Deputy CIO.
  5. Help to manage North Park’s SSL certificates ensuring timely renewals and upgrades.
  6. Assist with administration of on-prem servers and information infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in analytical discipline, preferably IT, Business Analytics or similar.
  2. Strong technical and analytical abilities.
  3. Ability to work effectively and productively from a remote location as needed.
  4. Familiarity with M365 and Azure Active Directory.
  5. Communication and problem-solving skills.
  6. Self-driven and able to learn with or without formal training.
  7. Demonstrated aptitude and interest in information systems design and programming/scripting, especially with PowerShell.
  8. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  9. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  10. Willingness to occasionally work off-hours to maintain availability of critical systems.
  11. High speed internet connectivity at home.
