Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Multidisciplinary Engineer to support the development of advanced environmental intelligence, mission planning, and decision-support systems. This role requires a unique blend of software engineering, systems architecture, and mechanical engineering expertise to design, integrate, and deploy complex solutions supporting defense, government, and critical infrastructure applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications for real-time operational systems
- Architect and integrate system-of-systems solutions across cloud, embedded, and secure environments
- Develop advanced algorithms and analytical models for optimization, risk analysis, and predictive insights
- Perform systems engineering activities, including requirements development, architecture design, and system integration
- Design and analyze mechanical components and physical systems supporting sensors, embedded platforms, and field operations
- Develop 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Implement and maintain geospatial data services and visualization platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate mission needs into technical solutions
- Support prototyping, testing, and deployment in both lab and field environments
- Contribute to technical documentation, proposals, and research initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or mechanical engineering
- Strong programming experience in C#, .NET, Python, C++, and SQL
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis and system integration
- Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with geospatial technologies (GeoServer, GIS, PostGIS)
- Familiarity with data analytics, machine learning, or data fusion techniques
- Experience in defense, aerospace, environmental intelligence, or critical infrastructure systems
- Background in embedded systems or hardware-software integration
- Experience supporting government contracts or proposal development
