Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Systems Integrator Engineer to manage data flows with Apache NiFi, use Python for data manipulation, and build Grafana dashboards to visualize flow metrics and infrastructure status.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, 8570 IAT Level 2, and the ability to obtain DoD TS SCI w/ CI Poly clearance. On-site in Reston, VA with long-term contract engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in systems integration or data engineering.
• 8570 IAT Level 2 certification by security indoctrination date.
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficient with Linux CLI and Python programming.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain complex data flows using Apache NiFi.
• Create Python-based data manipulations and integrations.
• Retrieve data from remote APIs and distribute per requirements.
• Transform legacy Java into modern Python solutions.
• Build Grafana dashboards for metrics and status visuals.
• Design secure cross-domain data channels between networks.
• Document flows with Visio and review change requests.
