Job summary

Bcore is seeking a Systems Integrator Engineer in Herndon, VA to support mission-critical voice infrastructure projects for government clients. You will collaborate with telecom engineers, network teams, and security specialists to design, deploy, and maintain voice systems including VoIP and call center solutions.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 years of related experience, a CS/CE degree, and hands-on use of SIP, PBX, and enterprise voice technologies.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• We seek candidates with hands-on experience in voice infrastructure design and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the system security accreditation process.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

We are actively seeking Systems Engineers with a minimum of 6 years' experience. Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or computer engineering. Specific skills may include the following:

• Work in an enterprise IT environment with specific tasks related to Voice
• Collaborate with network engineering and other telecom engineers in integration activities involving telephony or call center
• Assistin the design, testing, and deployment of new voice infrastructure
• Supportimplementation of next-generation voice technologies
• Participatein the system security accreditation process
• Providecertificate management support for secure systems
• Assistwith system upgrades, patching, and configuration
• Supportnew site voice system standups
• Supportcall center technology deployments, user training, and transition planning
• Contributeto call routing and trunking design within enterprise voice platforms
• Attendmeetings with internal teams and clients to gather and understand voice system requirements
• Monitorcompliance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Gainhands-on experience with secure voice devices (e.g., VoIP phones, STEs, Viper) and infrastructure components (e.g., PBXs, encryption devices, call management servers)
• Learn to provide Tier 4 engineering support under supervision
• Learnand supportplatforms such as Skype for Business, Avaya Communication Manager, and other enterprise call center technologies
