Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth is seeking an F-16 Technical Lead to provide operational technical support for SSL lab systems. You will plan, test, document, and maintain integration solutions for in-house and COTS/GOTS components, balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Responsibilities include test planning, system integration, and coordination with programs and other organizations, with a focus on sustaining 18/5 lab operations and handling complex test schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline or 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience operating and maintaining electronic equipment.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Familiarity with configuration control, inventory, and lab workflows.

Responsibilities

  • System integration/checkout/test.
  • Modifications to systems and components.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software interfaces.
  • Color tuning and alignment of visual display systems.

F-16 Techinical Lead. Responsible for providing operational technical support for LM Aero Fort Worth Simulation & System Labs (SSL) lab systems in the F-16 Labs. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. focus on the support and maintenance activities within the F-16 Integration Labs supporting a possible 18/5 test schedule.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline OR 6+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in operating and maintaining electronic equipment.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Experienced with configuration control, inventory, and/or working in a lab setting.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
