Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Data Integration Engineer to connect, orchestrate, and optimize data pipelines and system interfaces across large enterprise environments. The role emphasizes secure data flows aligned with government standards and cloud-native architectures.

You will work with Databricks notebooks, Airflow, and Azure/AWS data services to enable scalable data ingestion, transformation, and governance. A Secret Federal security clearance and a Bachelor's degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience with system integration, data pipelines, or application interoperability.
• Experience with Python, SQL, or similar languages used for system and data interactions.
• Experience with ETL/ELT concepts and REST-based service communication.
• Experience with Databricks notebooks, workflows, or Delta Lake.
• Exposure to cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with APIs, data interoperability concepts, authentication patterns, and cross-system coordination.
• Understanding of cloud-based data platforms and modern data engineering patterns.

Responsibilities

• Connect, integrate, and orchestrate data, applications, and platform components across enterprise environments.
• Support development, enhancement, and maintenance of large-scale data pipelines and system interfaces.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations within modern cloud-based architectures.
• Implement secure data flows and service connections aligned with government standards and enterprise governance.
• Validate system compatibility, identify integration gaps, and support remediation efforts.
