Job summary

Human Capital Solutions in Northern Virginia is seeking a Systems Integration Lead to own end-to-end integration across secure infrastructure, applications, and cloud services in DoD/IC contexts. This on-site role requires strong program management and technical leadership to keep initiatives on schedule and aligned with security requirements.

You will coordinate cross-domain teams, apply RMF/NIST controls, drive automation, and document architectures, guides, and reports to support mission

Qualifications

• 7+ years in systems integration, IT program management, or enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on with enterprise infrastructure, AWS/Azure/GCP, VMware or Hyper-V, and core networking.
• Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD, and tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly.

Responsibilities

• Run integration projects end to end from planning through testing and deployment.
• Coordinate cross-domain teams to align integration efforts with program goals.
• Ensure systems meet IC/DoD security requirements (RMF, NIST 800-53, STIGs).
• Plan migrations, upgrades, and tech refreshes with minimal mission impact.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive automation to simplify operations.
• Document architectures, requirements, and system specs; write guides and reports.

Base Pay: $87,000 to $208,500, depending on level

The Opportunity

Our client needs a technical integrator who can also run the project. You will own the integration of infrastructure, applications, and cloud services across secure intelligence environments, making sure everything works together and the program stays on schedule.

What You'll Do

• Run integration projects end to end, from planning and design through testing, deployment, and tuning
• Bring together engineering, cyber, cloud, and program leadership to keep integration efforts aligned
• Keep systems in line with IC and DoD security requirements, including RMF, NIST 800-53, and STIGs
• Plan migrations, upgrades, and tech refreshes that keep mission impact to a minimum
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis when integration issues come up
• Introduce automation and orchestration to simplify operations
• Track performance, scalability, and compliance over the long term
• Build and maintain architecture diagrams, requirements, and system specs
• Write and edit user guides, training content, install guides, proposals, and reports
• Coordinate program reviews and control gate reviews, including scheduling and briefing prep
• Organize meetings and technical exchanges, capture minutes, and follow action items to closure
• Support the PM with management plans, status reporting, and data compilation

What You Bring

• Ability to explain technical issues clearly to leaders and mission partners
• Comfort with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or PMP-style delivery
• Hands-on work with enterprise infrastructure, AWS/Azure/GCP, VMware or Hyper-V, and core networking
• 7+ years in systems integration, IT program management, or enterprise architecture
• Exposure to DevSecOps, CI/CD, and tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins
• Experience in cross-domain and secure network environments
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly

Nice to Have

• Certs such as PMP, CSM or SAFe, AWS or Azure Architect, CISSP, Security+, Network+, or ITIL
• Zero Trust, IAM, Kubernetes, microservices, and hybrid cloud experience
• Prior support to DoD or IC customers
• ITIL and enterprise service management familiarity

Levels:

Hiring from mid-level (3+ years) through principal (16+ years), all with a bachelor's degree.
