Job summary

Boeing is expanding opportunities within our Government Training Engineering organization at our Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO locations. This 100% onsite, first-shift role supports training device hardware/software integration across multiple subsystems, with potential signing bonus for qualified hires and relocation options.

We require a bachelor’s degree in an accredited field and active U.S. Secret Clearance, plus 5+ years for Lead level, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• We require a bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or a related accredited field.
• Experience in systems engineering, including system integration.
• Experience with hardware/software integration, file servers, computational systems, networking, visual systems, OS (Windows/Linux), and scripting.
• For Lead level, typically 5+ years of higher education and/or relevant work experience.
• Leadership experience in engineering or guiding teams to results.
• System integration experience in OS installation, BIOS setup, network switch config, domain setup, and security/cybersecurity compliance.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship.
• Ability to work onsite fulltime at Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally.
• No visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• We lead or support hardware and software integration work.
• We coordinate across engineering disciplines such as software, hardware, mission assurance, and others.
• We develop system integration plans and procedures.
• We create software load images for installation on training devices.
• We integrate multiple subsystems into complete training devices, including computational, networking, visual, communication, and power elements.
• We troubleshoot issues affecting training devices.
• We support formal test events.
• We perform buildup, integration, and testing of training devices prior to final delivery at the customer site.

• We require the ability to work onsite full time at Hazelwood, MO or Berkeley, MO.
• We require willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally as needed.
