Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT, invites engineers to join the C-5-I Platform Integration Team overseeing NPES integration across VA, CLB, and SSN(X) platforms. You’ll apply systems engineering to support physical and electronic integration, coordinating with NAVSEA, NUWC, and EB program offices.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 0–5 years of post-graduate experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance through the DoD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering.
• 0-5 years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance through the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage the configuration of C-5-I system technical data, including the consumption of Government Furnished Information/Government Furnished Equipment (GFI/GFE) into platform designs and CFE interfaces
• Apply system engineering methodologies to lead platform-level assessments of C-5-I modernization changes for VA and CLB platforms
• Lead the development of SSN(X) platform interface designs, trade studies, and baseline concepts
• Coordinate and communicate with NAVSEA, NUWC, EB program office, and other CWS/EB stakeholders
