Job description

Systems Integration Engineer

Design and implement software integration solutions across multiple systems, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements. Coordinate application integration across functions or between organizations, develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and mentor or supervise team members as needed.

You Have

• 3+ years of experience navigating complex customer environments, including receiving and implementing requirements
• 2+ years of experience with API integrations, including REST, webhooks, or authentication flows
• 2+ years of experience implementing and troubleshooting authentication or authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2, SAML, or OpenID Connect
• 2+ years of experience building prototype applications using Python or Go
• 1+ year of experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience working with a major cloud provider in a production environment
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems using logs, metrics, and debugging integration issues
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience in a customer‑facing engineering role (e.g., Solutions Engineer or Implementation Engineer)
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi
• Experience with identity providers such as Okta, Auth0, or Azure AD
• Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, SNS, SQS, Pub/Sub)
• Experience with networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, load balancing, firewalls)
• Knowledge of wireless communications, especially 5G and O‑RAN systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). This figure is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package, including health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care.
