Systems Integration Engineer

We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to partner closely with product portfolio teams, working alongside Product Engineers to understand and address real‑world pain points of system integration. The role helps shape solutions that empower system integration engineers to work more efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can bridge technical and business perspectives, contributing to designing and evolving products that streamline integration workflows, pioneer Booz Allen’s product integration business, define best practices, drive innovation, and deliver scalable solutions that accelerate mission and customer outcomes.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience navigating complex customer environments, including receiving and implementing requirements
• 2+ years of experience with API integrations
• 2+ years of experience building prototype applications using languages such as Python or Go
• 1+ year of experience implementing and working with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Experience working with a major cloud provider in a production environment
• Ability to troubleshoot across distributed systems, including logs, metrics, and debugging integration issues
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a customer-facing engineering role, such as in a Solutions Engineer or Implementation Engineer role
• Experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, and Pulumi
• Experience with identity providers such as Okta, Auth0, or Azure AD
• Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems, including Kafka, SNS and SQS, or publish‑subscribe (Pub/Sub)
• Experience with networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS, load balancing, and firewalls
• Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, to communicate with both technical and non‑technical audiences

Compensation and Benefits

Salary for this position is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience, with a projected range of $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
