Job summary

Airbus U.S. Manufacturing is seeking an Aircraft Systems Installer for the final phase to join our Mobile team. The role involves autonomous work across aircraft systems and involves day and late shifts.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in aviation production and may have vocational training in mechanics or systems. The position offers on-site work in Mobile, AL with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Airbus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production.
• Preferred: vocational training in Mechanics/Systems.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Aviation Production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical components at the station/workplace/aircraft parking space.
• Install and assemble mechanical components per order/drawings/specifications.
• Inspect bonding per GTI and drawings.
• Check system functions across multiple areas.
• Specialize in Hydraulic lines installation and servicing.
• Install Belly fairing MLG Bay / NLG / VU's / APU / wings inspections.
• Gauging tests and related tasks.
• Other duties as needed.

Airbus Mobile Manufacturing Site (MMS) is looking for an Aircraft Systems Installer Final phase to join our production team in Mobile, AL. This position is responsible for the systems installation of the aircraft for the final Phase. This position requires a lot of autonomy, work on the different systems of the aircraft and Outstanding work. Our team is working day and late shifts.

Nearby on 'Airbus Way' you will find the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility for commercial aircraft. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your Challenges

• Prepare mechanical components at the station/work place/aircraft parking space.
• Install and manufacture: mark, prepare, assemble, adapt, torque and secure mechanical components and parts.
• Inspect bonding as per order/GTI, drawing and specifications.
• Check system functions.
• Inspection of multiple areas.
• Specialized in the one Area mentioned below: Hydraulic lines installation and servicing
• Installation of the Belly fairing MLG Bay / NLG / VU's / APU / wings inspections
• Gauging Test
• Other tasks as needed

Your Boarding Pass

• High School Diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of training/experience.
• 2 years minimum experience in Aviation Production or equivalent
• Preferred: Completed vocational training (Mechanics/Systems)
• 5+ years hands‑on experience in Aviation Production
