Summit is currently looking for skilled and motivated Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) engineers to support the COMET contract. This contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.

The Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Engineer position is responsible for providing engineering and technical integration support to a broad range of SE&I work assignments to ensure group products and services are provided to meet NASA customer expectations.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, aerospace, defense, or complex technical program environments.
• Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle processes, including requirements development, verification & validation, configuration management, and risk management.
• Experience supporting large-scale engineering or aerospace programs involving cross‑functional integration activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and program management teams.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment supporting launch operations and aerospace systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances and/or NASA badging.
